Giesen Wines have been crafting award-winning full-strength wines for over 40 years and are now world leaders in producing premium no-alcohol wines to cater for the growing ‘mindful, health and wellness’ consumer audience.

When creating the refreshed packaging for Giesen 0% range, it was important that it still resembled a premium wine bottle, but also aligned with it’s full-strength Giesen counterpart range so it looked part of the Giesen family. But it was also important that there was enough difference to ensure clear differentiation between full-strength and no-alcohol ranges so there was no confusion to the consumer.

Design Challenges
Design challenges: As leaders in the 0% category it was very important to have a label to reflect this. we wanted to create a clear, clean and well-designed label to stand out on shelf amongst competitors.

Clean, premium label design that stood out amongst competitors and was appealing to customers to purchase. There needed to be a clear differentiation between full-strength wine as well as a noticeable difference between the wine styles. By using a different coloured foil to represent each wine style makes the range stand out individually and as a group.
