‘The W’ – Wine Giftbox Set by Wild Estate

We are very proud of our new limited edition ultra premium wine packing from Wild Estate in the Onetangi Valley. We waited 5 years since purchasing our vineyard for a vintage of such quality that we could make an ultra premium wine, and this one is exceptional. The design had to be outstanding, using the best materials we could find. The design was to replicate our Shigu ban feature we have in our new restaurant, where the wood is burned, creating a dragon skin effect. Michelle's design brief was always to have a vine detail taken from the logo, wrapped around the bottle, and to be replicated on a premium giftbox. With the pricepoint, we felt it would make an outstanding gift or fathers day, 50ths, 60ths, Anniversaries and luxury wine lovers. Therefore we made it simple to gift, for every wine can come in a box that is perfect for shipping and gifting. We often write on the inside in gold pen, so no need for a card.

Michelle from Vivid Creative nailed the design brief, so we were super happy about that. The biggest challenge was getting the box We got it printed in China by Bluestar Printing, so the rep was fantastic, but we had trouble getting a diecut Michelle could layout on, and also had to wait several months for a print sample to check the quality. After the challenges of the label print, we were concerned it could look cheap. The print sample was good, but not on the our stock and without foil, so still a huge risk and big outlay for us as we had to make minimum order of 1000 (which would last many vintages). We went for it, and simply love the outcome. The boxes have a magnetic closure and are flatpacked so easy to store. They make the wine shine.

Once the label and box are showcased together, they create the perfect ultra premium stance, and make an impact on the shelf. They are being purchased for gifts as we'd hoped.
