Venus Express GSM – Shaky Train Series

The Venus Express GSM is a fruit focused, vibrant and colourful offering – naturally we wanted the packaging to reflect this. This was one of our lines in our break out year so we wanted something that really grabbed peoples attention and got them speaking about and discussing the brand!

Entry Introduction
Shaky Kane is the uncle of Dewey Station Wines Co-Founder Ellie Dewey. Ellie and Stefan could think of no better man to create the labels for their wines to create a buzz, and get people talking on their break out year.
Design Challenges
Creating labels that were quirky and eye grabbing without being distasteful and cheap
Design Solution
"By utilising family and entrusting Ellie's uncle - we were working closely with a man who has made a career out of creating the weird and wonderful. This wasn't comic labels for the sake of it. We went into it with a clear vision which helped to create a precise and effective label We now (as of 2021) run a dual label for this wine under our Glow Up Series to add another dimension to our brand"
