‘The Greats’ is a special collection of reserve wines that highlight the Oliver family’s rich grape growing history - A huge 181 years in McLaren Vale (and counting).
These wines were part of the Oliver's Taranga folio, but not collated under a series or theme. The labels needed a modernised refresh, whilst paying homage to their past and showcasing premium appeal.
Each label tributes a pivotal forefather from the family's history. Detailed portraits are at the forefront of the design; depicted from the Oliver’s family photo archives and executed in striking copper foil. Their accompanying signatures were remarkably sourced from McLaren Vale’s PO Box log-book history. Each label is individually numbered to convey the small batch sizes and rarity of these wines. To complete the package, custom caps and proprietary branded bottles were created exclusively for 'The Greats' series.
The finished product is an authentic package that helps to celebrate their legacy and the respect they've rightfully earned in our local wine industry.
